Steffanie Jurusik has been named Wildcat Athlete of the Week after setting a new school record in the 100yd backstroke. 

Swimming in just the fourth meet of her collegiate career Jurusik, broke the backstroke record with a time of 1:01.95. She also finished second in the 200 back, missing the school record in that event by a fraction of a second. Her contributions to the team didn’t stop there, as she also helped the medley relay and freestyle relay teams both take second.

The Wildcats compete this weekend at Macalester, Diving at 9:00am and swimming at 1:00pm.
