Junior Angela Huepfel earns her second consecutive Fleur-de-lis Award for after an outstanding past two weeks for the Widlcat softball team. In ten conference games, the offensive powerhouse hit .571 with 14 runs including five home runs, 18 RBI, and three doubles in the team’s ten straight MIAC wins. Her five home runs lands her in a three-way tie for the program’s most during a single-season with ten overall. On top of her impressive stat line at the plate, Huepfel was perfect in the field including turning a triple play in game two to close out the game against Saint Mary’s on Sunday, April 18. She currently leads the MIAC with a .532 season batting average, RBI (42) and with home runs (10). This is her fourth Fleur-de-lis Award of her career and third this year.
