All-American Maggie Menso earns her first Fleur-de-lis award of the 2019-20 academic year following the JoAnn Andregg Invitational at the University of St. Thomas on Friday and Saturday of last weekend. Menso was the top-finisher in the 400-yard individual medley event with a time of 4:39.33 which also ranks her in the No. 1 spot in the MIAC and 16^th in Division III. Menso also appeared in the 400-yard and 800-yard freestyle relay events helping the Wildcats achieve the top-spot in both while also participating on the St. Catherine relay team that placed third in the 200-freestyle relay. After a successful first-year campaign, Menso has been working hard to build off of last year. In acceptance of the award, Menso said, “The team has been working very hard and it is great to be recognized for this hard work.” This is Menso’s third Fleur-de-lis in her career at St. Catherine and first this season.
