For her record setting performances at the MIAC Swimming and Diving Championships, first year swimmer Sarah Vrudny has been named Wildcat Athlete of the Week.
Over the course of the three day meet, Vrudny was a part of an astonishing seven St. Kate's school records. Vrudny now owns the St. Kate's school records in three individual events, the 50 Free (24.56), the 100 Free (53.28), the 200 Free (1:55.94). She also anchored four relay school records: the 200 Free Relay (1:39.99), the 400 Free Relay (3:37.39), the 200 Medley Relay (1:51.64), and the 400 Medley Relay (4:01.85).
Along with breaking all of the St. Kate's school records, Vrudny's time in the 200 Free was also an NCAA B-Standard qualifying time.
