The first-year swimmer hailing from France arrived at St. Catherine with passion for swimming and the dreams of one day representing her home country as a Paralympic swimmer competing in the S9 class. Since arriving in America this summer to continue her education and training towards her goals, LeBris has made tremendous strides in the pool. For the first time in her career, Le Bris was part of two relay teams and earned career best finishes in both. While training to participate in the 100 back, 100 free and 400 free for France, Le Bris has navigated a new country, a new team, and brand new opportunities with an all heart attitude. When discussing with Le Bris how the weekend went in her perspective she had this to say, “This weekend was a really good experience both for me and the team as a whole. Everyone did great and we all had amazing energy which motivated us to go beyond our limits during the races. We all pushed each other and it was amazing to feel the whole team behind us during the races! So far, my experience on this team has been awesome, better than I could have imagined! I would say that my best memory so far this season was during the two relays I participated in this weekend. Those were my first real relays ever, and I loved the feeling of swimming with others, not just individually.”
