Picking up her first Fleur-de-lis of the academic year, is Jordyn Wentzel for her accomplishments at the Border Battle Meet on October 27. In Wentzel’s debut season as a Wildcat, the first-year broke two school records and earned three first-place finishes at the St. Thomas hosted meet. Finishing first in the 100 fly and 200 fly, Wentzel snapped the school record in both. Wentzel's 100 fly finish of 58.05 was .3 seconds faster than the standing record. Her finish in the 200 fly was 3 seconds faster than the record coming in at 2:06.46. She was also part of the 400 freestyle first place relay team that included Menso. Wentzel ranks 17^th in Division III in the 100 free and first in the MIAC. Her 200 fly finish puts her first in the conference and third in Division III. Overall, Wetnzel sits in first in five different events in the MIAC and top-ten in four events in Division III.
