Molly Hayes (Soccer): Hayes earns the first Fleur-de-lis honor of her career thanks to her outstanding displays of scholarship and teamwork during the St. Kate’s soccer offseason. Hayes, a marketing major, was recently inducted into the Delta Mu Delta business honor society after receiving the Lucile Laughlin Junior Award and the Elizabeth Quinlan Scholarship earlier in the second semester. She was also selected as a captain for the upcoming soccer season.

Julia Sporer (Tennis): Sporer’s athletic accomplishments during St. Kate’s tennis’ spring break trip earned her the first Fleur-de-lis honor of her career. The senior was 6-0 during the Wildcats trip to Chicago, with a 3-0 record in doubles and 3-0 record in singles play. Sporer competed on the team’s No. 1, 2, and 3 doubles teams, each with a different partner, and found success at each position. She also handily won all three of her matches as St. Kate’s No. 3 singles player.

Tori Thompson (Track & Field): Thompson earned her second Fleur-de-lis honor this year, this time for her athletic accomplishments in the sport of track and field. Thompson was outstanding at the Westmont Collegiate Classic in Santa Barbara, California, as she led the Wildcats to a third place team finish overall. The junior won discus with a personal record (PR) throw of 40.61 meters, which is currently the top throw in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), No. 4 in school history and No. 14 in all of Division III. Thompson also placed second in the long jump competition thanks to her jump of 5.37 meters. That jump currently ranks second in the MIAC and No. 27 in the nation. Thompson was named the MIAC Athlete-of-the-Week on Tuesday, April 3.
