First year diver Sarah Moody has been named Wildcat Athlete of the Week after taking first in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events at last weekend's Hamline Quadrangular.

The meet was Moody's first of the season, and she immediately showed the kind of impact she can have for the Wildcats during the season. Moody's winning total of 180.25 in the 1-meter dive was nearly 40 points ahead of her closest competitor. Her 177.15 points in the 3-meter dive were over 20 points ahead of second place.

Moody, who was one of the top divers and gymnasts in the state of Minnesota during her high schol career, is a Nursing major at St. Kate's. She is the daughter of Craig and Barb Moody.
