Stephanie Meschke has been named Athlete of the Week after her record-setting performance at the Tommie Twilight meet. Meschke's throw of 35.43m (116-2) was not only a big improvement from her previous personal best, it also bettered the javelin school record by nearly a foot. The junior placed fourth overall in the meet, which included a mix of some of the top teams in the MIAC as well as several Division I teams.

Meschke and the rest of the Wildcats are ready to take on the competition by storm at the MIAC Championships this weekend. The events start on Friday at Concordia-Moorhead and will wrap up on Saturday.
