The College of St. Catherine athletic department is pleased to announce the Brooke Hakanson (Jr., Wheeler, Wis.) has been named Wildcat Athlete of the Week. Hakanson was a key component in the WIldcats' back-to-back conference wins last week.

In Wednesday's matchup against Saint Mary's University Hakanson scored 11 points and grabbed a game high 13 rebounds in the win. She followed that up with a 19 point, 11 rebound effort in the Wildcats' win over Hamline University on Saturday.

The Wildcat basketball team is back in action on the 16th when they play host to St. Ben's.
