St. Kate's hockey picked up another win against Augsburg on Saturday afternoon in Ridder Arena. Coming out aggressive from the start, the Wildcats scored 3 in the first period en route to a 7-0 win.

Megan Boehmer scored the first two goals for the Wildcats on assists from Meghan Lange and Rachael Gasperetti for the first and Cassie Vennemann and Becky Clifton on the second. Kelsey Abrahamson adding the third goal in the first period, assisted by Michaela Michaelson and Cassie Rooney.

Meghan Lange and Nicki Mosbeck found the net for the two SCU goals in the second period.  Ashley Tilton and Jessica Feltes added the final to goals in the third period, with Feltes' score being a short handed goal at 18:03.

Kayla Lange stopped 16 shots in the third shut, which is the third of the season and the second consecutive for the Wildcats.

Head coach Marshall spoke highly of the teams effort after the game. "Anytime you can get two players to score their first college goals in the same game, that says a lot. It means we're getting balanced scoring throughout and that's what good teams do. If our team defense can keep holding teams to less than two goals a game, we'll be in good shape come semester break."

Hockey continues play on December 3rd at St. Mary's University in Winona, MN.
