Gerten Named MIAC Athlete of the Week

St. Catherine University junior goaltender Mel Gerten has been named MIAC Women's Hockey Athlete of the Week after stopping 59 of 60 shots she faced in the Wildcats weekend series against Bethel. A complete copy of the MIAC Office release is available here.

USCHO features Wildcats Hockey

US College Hockey Online (USCHO) recently recognized the St. Kate's hockey team's strong start to their season in this feature story. The Wildcats, who improved to 9-3 in the MIAC and 13-4 overall with their series sweep of Bethel this past weekend, have begun receiving votes in the USCHO national polls. The team also has their sights set on a new school record for wins and an MIAC playoff berth.

The St. Kate’s hockey team won an overtime thriller 1-0 against Bethel University Saturday night at Ridder Arena. It is the Wildcats’ fourth win in their last five games.

Wildcats lose to Gustavus 3-1

One day after stopping #8 Gustavus' seven game win streak, the Wildcat hockey team lost 3-1 to Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday afternoon at Ridder Arena. With the loss, SCU split the season series with the Gusties.
