Dylan Hammerschmidt joined the St. Catherine University soccer coaching staff in August 2025.

Hammerschmidt currently serves as the Lakeville SC GU13–U19 Tier 1 Technical Director, Hammerschmidt has also guided younger players as BU9–U12 Technical Director and Recreation Director, and gained high school experience as an assistant coach with LNHS Boys Varsity. Along the way, he earned a USSF B License, became a USSF Coach Educator, and holds a MSHSL Head Coach License.

On the competitive side, Hammerschmidt has coached teams to five NPL/US Club National Tournament appearances, including a 2025 National Cup runner-up finish and a 2023 NPL Finals semi-final run. Recognized as the 2024 MSHSLSSC Assistant Coach of the Year, Hammerschmidt has also helped guide teams to back-to-back section runner-up finishes in 2023 and 2024.
