Biography
I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: we have fun doing what we do best. I am also a part of a respectful and talented group of student-athletes.
What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?: Being a student-athlete has given me so many great opportunities to meet new people and become part of the St. Kate's family.
2015-16: This will be French Krahn's final season with the Wildcats.
2014-15: During her junior season, French placed three times on the school top-10 list. At the MIAC Championships, she qualified for finals and placed ninth in the 400 IM and was 12th in the 1650 Freestyle. French Krahn also placed 16th in the 200 Breaststroke finals and swam on the Wildcats' 800 Freestyle Relay team that placed sixth. She also earned Academic All-MIAC honors.
2013-14: As a sophomore, French Krahn placed four individual times on the school top-10 list and was a member of the record-breaking 400 Medley Relay team that placed fifth at the MIAC Championships. She also placed eighth in the 1650 Freestyle for her first top-8 MIAC individual finish of her career. She placed 12th in the 500 Freesetyle and also swam on the sixth-place 400 and 800 Freestyle Relay teams.
2012-13: In French Krahn's first season as a Wildcat, she set the school record in the 1000 and 1650 Freestyle with her 11th place finish in the 1650 Freestyle at the MIAC Championships. She also finished 11th in the 500 Freestyle at the conference meet and was a member of the school record-breaking 800 Freestyle Relay team. French Krahn is also in the top-three in school history in four different events.
High School: French Krahn only swam one season with her high school, but swam many years with her club swim team.
Personal: French Krahn is exercise and sport science, pre-physical therapy major and dean's list student. She is also a member of Kappa Omicron Nu honor society and the Wildcat Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (WSAAC). She is the daughter of Kelly French and Dan Krahn.
