Biography
I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: everyone is nice and helpful.
What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?: All of the athletes are very supportive.
2015-16: This will be Gaertner's second season as a Wildcat.
2014-15: In her first season as a Wildcat, Gaertner recorded career-best swims at the MIAC Championships in the 50 Freestyle, 100 and 200 Backstroke.
Previous College Experience: Gaertner spent two seasons at the University of St. Thomas before transferring to St. Kate's.
High School: Gaertner was all-conference honorable mention at Eagan High School and was senior captain of the swimming team. She was also a two-year member of the ASL club and volunteered coaching middle school swimming.
Personal: Gaertner chose to attend St. Kate's because of the ASL Interpreting major and the opportunity to swim. She is a communication major and ASL interpreting minor. She is the daughter of Jill and Jeff Gaertner.
