Biography

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?: I enjoy the community and friendships developed on a small team.
2014-15: The 2014-15 season will be Larson's second as a Wildcat swimmer.
2013-14: In her first season as a Wildcat, Larson was 13th at the MIAC Championships in the 500 Freestyle and also swam on the fifth-place 200 Medley Relay team and sixth-place 400 and 800 Freestyle Relay squads. She narrowly missed qualifying for the consolation finals with a 17th-place finish in the 200 Freestyle and competed in the 100 Freestyle. Larson also had career-best swims in the 100 and 200 Freestyle as well as the 100 Backstroke.
High School: Larson was a four-year varsity swimmer at Wayzata. She placed in the top-eight at sections all four years. She also participated in choir and held high rankings in state competitions for classical singing.
Personal: Larson chose St. Kate's because of the opportunities to be involved in athletics, academics and social clubs. She is an ASL Interpreting major with a minor in musical/vocal studies. Larson is also a member of choir and ASL club, as well as a campus tour guide. She is the daughter of Keith Larson, Sara Ridley.
