A letter winner in 2006 and 2007 at Grand Rapids HS, Spooner was also active in track, student council and band during her high school career....Her favorite books and movies are the Harry Potter series, her favorite athlete is Michael Phelps, and she credits her mom for always encouraging her to be involved in athletics....Spooner is an English and Education major at St. Kate's....she is the daughter of Joe and Carol.
