Carrie Cooley

The 2009-10 season will be Coach Cooley's fourth season as an assistant coach for the St. Kate’s basketball program. In this time she has played an integral role in the continued advancement of the entire basketball program through her work with team on a day-to-day basis as well as her efforts as the Wildcats recruiting coordinator. While working alongside Coach Rufsvold, Cooley has helped the Wildcats accumulate a winning overall record, reach the playoffs for the first time in school history and had the first MIAC scoring champion in school history.

Prior to her arrival at St. Kate’s Cooley spent two years as a graduate assistant coach at the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND and one year as an assistant basketball and softball coach at Hamline University.


Coach Cooley graduated from St. Olaf College in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in education and earned her Master's Degree from the University of Mary in 2005. While at St. Olaf Carrie played on both the basketball and softball teams and was a two-year captain for the basketball team.
