Coach Danielson returns in 2013 for her second season as the Pitching Coach for the St. Catherine University softball team. As a standout player at the University of Minnesota - Duluth, Danielson adds additional depth to a knolwedgable and experienced coaching staff.
At UMD, Danielson was a four-year NSIC All-Conference player from 2007-2010. In 2009 and 2010, she earned NFCA All-Region honors and was an All-America selection during her senior campaign in 2010. That same year, she was also named the UMD Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year.
Danielson holds multiple career records at UMD in both pitching and hitting categories. She holds the all-time records in home runs and runs batted in (RBI) among all Bulldog hitters and has a hold on the all-time pitching categories for innings pitched, wins, strikeouts, complete games and games started. The all-around threat was also the first player in UMD history lead the team in both batting average and earned run average (ERA).
In high school, Danielson was also a star athlete at Mounds View High School. She was a four-year ll-conference player, a two-time All-State player and Metro Player of the year in 2006.
Danielson graduated from UMD in 2010 with a degree in Community Health.
