Biography

I'm proud to be a Wildcat because: being an athlete at St. Kate's is a way to stay involved at school. I can do by best to pump up the crowd, to entertain them. Wildcats have a tremendous amount of pride in what they do, and they all really support each other. 

What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Kate's: Being an athlete has provided me with an amazing group of women who support each other. I couldn't ask for better people in my life. . 

2014-15: Gruber competed with the Wildcats and was a varsity letter winner. She also helped the Wildcats to some of the best finishes in program history and an invite to the University of Minnesota "Best of the Best." 

2013-14: The 2013-14 season was Gruber's third with the dance team. She was also a letter winner. 

2012-13: Gruber participated with the dance team as a sophomore was a letter winner. 

2011-12: Gruber received the team's Most Improved Award. She was also a letter winner. 

High School: Gruber lettered in dance all four years at North and was captain for one year. Was an All-Conference Winner her junior and senior year.

Personal: Gruber is a elementary education major. She volunteers with a non-profit organization that focuses on closing the achievement gap and expanding the knowledge of creative writing. Gruber also is a member of the St. Kate's education club. She is the daughter of Angela Gruber Hjort.
