Biography
I enjoy being a Wildcat student-athlete because: I enjoy being a part of a team that is focused on success both in academics and athletics.
2012: So far this season, Sarah has showed continued improvement. She was one of eight Wildcats with a PR at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invite, finishing with a time of 24:09.81.
2011: Sarah finished the 2011 season with the No. 15 spot on the top 25 Wildcat 6k times list. She finished with a time of 24:58 at the MIAC Championships and was the fifth Wildcat to cross the line at the event.
2010: In her first year at St. Kate's, Sarah was in the Wildcats' top seven at the Regional meet. She ran her season best at UW Lacrosse.
Sarah is also a member of the Wildcat track & field team, where she qualified for the MIAC championship in the 3000m steeplechase.
High School: She played volleyball, basketball, and ran track at Siren High School. She was team captain for all three sports and earned all-conference honors four times in track and once in basketball. Sarah was a three time qualifier for the state meet in track and holds Siren High School records in the 400, 800, 1600, and 3200. Sarah was involved in many activities, including National Honor Society, band, choir, and student council.
Personal: Sarah is a Food & Nutrition Science major. She chose St. Kate's because she loved the atmosphere on campus. She has also made Dean's List and earned Academic All-MIAC honors in 2011 for her outstanding academic performance.
