2017: As a sophomore, Frenette appeared in 48 games for the Wildcats with 48 starts, primarily in right field. Frenette hit .229 during the season, with 30 hits in 131 plate appearances. In a 10-4 comeback win over St. Thomas in April, FrenetteĀ had a career day at the plate, goingĀ 4-4 with three RBI in a key win for the Wildcats. She was also solid defensively, as she made just four errors during the season.Ā
2016: In her first season with St. Kate's, Frenette appeared in 37 games with 29 starts, most in left field. Frenette amassed a .230 batting average with 14 hits in 61 at bats for a .299 on base percentage. Frenette proved to be a solid defensive player for the Wildcats and did not commit an error throughout the entire season.Ā
High School: At Irondale, Frenette was a four-year letter winner and three-time all-conference player for softball. She also was the team's defensive MVP as a senior committing just two errors in the infield. Additionally, Frenette was a four-year letter winner in strength and conditioning. Outside of sports, Frenette was an honor roll student, graduated with honors, was a member of the National Honors Society and was a four-year letter winner for academics. She was also involved in leadership club and peer mentoring. Frenette also volunteered with the Red Cross, Free Bikes for Kidz and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Personal: Frenette chose St. Kate's for the nursing program, community environment and the opportunity to play softball. She is a nursing major. She is the daughter of Cris Frenette.
