WASECA, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University cross country team had an impressive showing at the Kent Finanger Invite hosted by Luther College at the Colonett Estate. First-year
Eleanor Lindeman led the team to a fourth place finish with a time of 15:18.6 in third place individually.
Mist Sit was the next Wildcat to cross the 4K finish line coming in 17th with a time of 16:27.2 followed by
Lydia Feldhahn in 21st with a mark of 16:37.1. Rookie
Alecia Weber clocked in at 17:43.7 and junior
Kaitlyn Peterson finished with a time of 18:07.8.
The next finisher for St. Kate's was
Lauren Kennedy with a time of 18:22.5 in 50th. Kennedy was awarded this year's Coach Finanger Spirit Award. This award's recipients, a male and female from every participating team, will be selected prior to the meet at the discretion of each coach. Awardees should have demonstrated outstanding character both on and off the field, using their talents for special purposes, and their passion and dedication for the betterment of others.

Miranda Kerndt with a finishing time of 18:57.8 as the last Wildcat across the line in 58th.
The Wildcats will travel to Northfield to compete in the St. Olaf College Haunted Hustle on the Hill for the final regular season race on October 18. The team will then compete in the 2025 MIAC Women's Cross Country Championships on November 1 hosted at Highland Park Golf Course.
