Amanda Elton powered the Wildcats past Gustavus Adolphus on Wednesday at home scoring three goals in the team's 5-0 victory. The win advances St. Kate's to the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Playoff Championship match on Saturday, November 6 at 1 pm which also includes home field advantage for the purple and gold.
Elton's three goal game moved her into the top-spot of program's single-season goals leaderboard with 15 total this season. She netted her 13th goal of the season at 9:06 in the first half knocking in the game-winner. Â
Her second-goal and 14th of the season was scored at 16:06 in the half from senior
Taylor Johnson to go up 2-0. The MIAC leading goal scorer this season netted her final of the contest just two minutes into the second half off a pass from senior
Rachael Holm for Elton's first collegiate hattrick.Â

Lauren Witte wanted her piece of the points scoring her fourth of the season and the team's fourth of the game at 74:09 with help from first-year
Sydney Nelson. Nelson had her second assist just two minutes later feeding sophomore
Emily Stephens in front of the net.Â
Kate Praetz claimed her eighth shutout of her sophomore season facing just five shots in 81 minutes on the field.
Kelsey Dugan played the final minutes of the game, facing zero shots.Â
The top-seeded Wildcats will host the No. 2 seed College of Saint Benedict Bennies on Saturday, November 6 at 1 pm in search of the program's second MIAC Playoff Championship title.Â
