The Wildcats met St. Thomas on Monday afternoon in a tough conference match up. 

The first game started off well with St. Kate's starting pitcher Sarah McLennan and the defense taking care of business. After four innings, St. Thomas had a slim, 1-0 lead.  Unfortunately for the Wildcats, they would hit their stride and pour on six runs in the bottom of the fifth to stretch the lead to 7-0. 

St. Kate's struggled offensively throughout the double-header. Only mustering up three hits in the first game and two in the second. The second game would start off much differently as the Tommies jumped out to a 7-0 lead after one inning and a 10-0 lead after three.  Never looking back or yeilding defensively in the win.

St. Kate's plays host to visiting Concordia-Moorhead on Wednesday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 pm
