| Team Results | Individual Results |

WELLESLEY, MASS. – It has already been an impressive fall for the St. Catherine University cross country team. In their last performance before the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Cross Country Championship, the Wildcats may have put together their best performance of the season. One week after winning its home meet, St. Kate's took third at the Seven Sisters Championship in Wellesley, Massachusetts and 11 Wildcat runners recorded personal records (PR) in the race.

St. Kate's runners ran well at Nehoiden Golf Course in Wellesley, Massachusetts, none more so than Rachel Hall (Mendota Heights, Minn.). The senior was the top finisher for the Wildcats, ending the race in fourth with a time of 22:50.3. That time was not only a personal best for Hall but now stands as the third fastest time in school history.

Leighlin Ahlstrom (White Bear Lake, Minn. / White Bear Lake) continued her impressive first year with St. Kate's cross country team with an eighth place finish in the Seven Sisters Championship. Like Hall, Ahlstrom also recorded a PR time of 23:04.2, which is No. 4 all-time in program history.

Courtney Kirkeide (Greenbush, Minn. / Greenbush-Middle River) recorded her second-consecutive top-10 after finishing just two seconds behind Ahlstrom in tenth place. Kirkeide also continued the trend of recording both a PR and top-25 time, as her time of 23:06.3 is the fifth fastest in St. Kate's program history.

Allison Monahan (Missoula, Mont. / Hellgate) and Bryanna Waage (Valencia, Calif. / Hart) were the final two runners whose scores counted for the Wildcats. Monahan finished in 18th with a time of 23:38.9 while Waage finished in 22nd with a time of 23:59.6. Both times were PRs for the runners and cracked through the top-10 in St. Kate's all-time performance list.

The strong times continued for the rest of the Wildcats who ran in the race. Shannon Strickland (Rochester, Minn. / Lourdes) finished just outside St. Kate's top five runners in 24th with a time of 24:19.1, as did Jackie Brine-Doyle (Merrifield, Minn. / Pequot Lakes). The sophomore finished in 30th with a time of 24:44.1.

Michelle Perri (Plymouth, Minn. / Osseo), Olivia Damron (Thiensville, Wis. / Homestead) and Teagan Tretter (Kronenwetter, Wis. / DC Everest) were among the other members of St. Kate's Cross Country to PR at the Seven Sisters Championship as they all finished in the top-50. Ahna Neil (Mendota Heights, Minn.) and Sam Witmer (Troutdale, Ore. / Reynolds) also recorded personal best times.

Combining the scores of Hall, Ahlstrom, Kirkeide, Monahan, and Waage, St. Kate's finished the race with 62 total points and an average time of 23:19.9. Meet host Wellesley College won the race with the lowest score of 42 points while Smith College's Katherine Stephens won the race as an individual with a time of 22:31.2.

With the final regular season race behind them, the Wildcats will no prepare for the MIAC Cross Country Championship. The conference race will take place on October 29 at 11 a.m. at Como Golf Course in St. Paul, Minnesota. More information regarding the MIAC Championship will be available in the upcoming weeks.
