The St. Kate's swimming and diving team has been named a fall 2009 Scholar All-American team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). The Wildcats tied RIT and Vassar College with the eighth best team GPA in the country. SCU finished with a 3.45 team GPA.
