The St. Kate's basketball team beat Carleton 64-51 Wednesday night at Butler Center.
The Wildcats took a 28-20 lead into halftime thanks to two 3-pointers by Jenna Olson. They extended their lead in the second half, where Laura Kalbfell scored 17 points. She finished the game with 26 points and 14 rebounds. The Wildcat's made 5 of 11 three-point attempts in the second half, while holding the Knights to 28.3% shooting from the field to seal the victory.
St. Kate's outscored Carleton 36-31 in the second half, ending the game with the 64-51 win. Molly Peterson had 10 points and 7 rebounds, Cassandra Hubler has 8 points, and Amy Battey grabbed 8 boards.
The win improves the Wildcats record to 4-3 in MIAC play, 5-5 overall.
St. Kate's hosts St.Mary's this Saturday, January 9th at 3:00 p.m. at Butler Center.
