ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University track & field team appeared at the Hamline University Meet of the Unsaintly on Friday afternoon.
Gabby Bodin was the runner up in the 100-meter hurdles clocking a time of 15.33.
Katie Yoder recorded a time of 29.12 in the 200-meter dash, good for 23rd place while
Kaitlyn Peterson was 12th overall in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:41.52.
Lily Harvey was also in the distance event with Peterson coming in 17th with a time of 2:49.44.
Harvey had a PR in the 1500-meter run with a time of 5:40.69 and
Brenna Nelson had a season-best finish in the 5K with a time of 21.35.54 finishing fifth overall.
Chando Horvath finished eighth in the discus with a mark of 32.67m ahead of
Maggie Lewandowski tallying a mark of 27.57m in 12th place.
Horvath was St. Kate's top finisher in the hammer throw with a 13th place mark of 41.20m followed by Althoff in 16th at 35.47m. Lewandowski was 23rd with a mark of 27.12m and
Grace Kordus was 25th at 24.77m.
Althoff appeared in the javelin throw with a best mark of 24.28m finishing fourth. The final event in the field was the shot put as Horvath came in eighth with a mark of 10.69m. Althoff recorded a season-best mark of 9.81m as Kordus also had a season-best at 8.69m in 15th. Lewandowski finished in 17th with a mark of 7.78m.
Next up for St. Kate's is the MIAC Outdoor Championships at Hamline University beginning Friday, May 10.
