Biography
A two-time letter winner at St. Kate's, Kristina returns as one of the best pole vaulters in school history….As a sophomore Popov earned MIAC Honorable Mention Honors after finishing fifth at the conference meet. She also moved into second all-time at St. Kate's in the event...Popov had never competed in track and field prior to taking up the pole vault her freshman year, where she quickly picked up the event and qualified for the conference outdoor championships....She chose St. Kate’s because of the excellent Nursing program and the small class sizes….Popov is the daughter of Nikola and Radmila….Kristina is majoring in Nursing.
