For the first time in over ten years, the St. Kate's swimming and diving team won their dual meet with the Cobbers from Concordia. The Wildcats won 10 of 13 events on their way to the 138-103 victory.
Individual champions for the Wildcats included:
Sarah Moody in 1-meter diving with a score of 226.60
Sarah Vrudny in the 200 Free (2:05.89)
Bridget Perkins led the sprints by winning the 50 Free (25.73) and 100 Free (56.03)
Allison Witt claimed top honors in two events, winning the 200 IM (2:21.37) and the 100 breast (1:15.10)
Ashley Kramka in the 100 Fly (1:06.41)
Steffanie Jurusik in the 100 back (1:03.67)
SCU also took top honors in both the 200 Medley Relay (2:00.12) and the 200 Free Relay (1:44.66).
St. Kate's swept the 100 Fly with
Melanie Maas (1:06.75) and
Reba Bisciglia (1:10.59) joining Kramka on the podium.
The Wildcats make a quick turnaround as they host the St. Kate's Invite, starting about 12 hours from the completion of Friday's meet.
