Tennis loses close match to St. Thomas

The St. Kate's tennis team lost a very close match to the University of St. Thomas. The Wildcats and Tommies had three matches go to tie-breaker sets, but in each instance St. Thomas prevailed and came away with the 6-3 win.

St. Kate's fell behind 3-0 after dropping two of the doubles matches in 8-6 sets. In singles play, the Wildcats picked up victories at first, third and fifth singles with Susie Hallquist, Kasie Rust and Martha Ginder picking up the victories.

The Wildcats play again in one week when they host Hamline University at 4 pm.
