Playing their final home game of the season, the St. Kate's soccer team lost to Carleton College 3-1. With the loss the Wildcats fall to 6-8-3 overall and 2-6-2 in MIAC play.

Junior Gina Thorwick got the Wildcats off to a fast start when she scored her second goal of the season at the 6:51 mark of the game to put St. Kate's ahead 1-0.  Current MIAC Athlete of the Week Kaitlin Kramer picked up an assist on the play.

Unfortunately it was all Carleton the rest of the way.  Niki Tomita scored three goals in the next 56 minutes of play to give the Knights the 3-1 victory.

The Wildcats close out their season on Saturday when the travel to Arden Hills to take on Bethel at 1pm.
