Lindquist named MIAC Setter of the Week
St. Catherine University first-year setter
Nina Lindquist has been named the MIAC Volleyball Setter of the Week. Lindquist had the best week of her young career as she averaged 13.0 assists per set in the Wildcats victories over Gustavus and Bethel.
Her final tally of 91 set assists last week also moved her to third in the conference with 259 total assists on the season.
In addition to her great week setting, Lindquist was also strong defensively for the Wildcats. She recorded six digs against Gustavus before ending the week with a season high 20 digs against Bethel.
Lindquist and her teammates, who have won nine of their last eleven games, look to continue their strong play on Wednesday when they travel to Winona to face St. Mary's University at 7:00pm
