Tennis competes well at ITA tournament

This past weekend's ITA Midwest Regional Championships were a very successful conclusion to the St. Kate's tennis team's fall calendar.

ITA Honors Tennis Team

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) recently recognized five St. Kate's student-athletes with the 2009 ITA Scholar-Athlete Award. The organization also awarded the Wildcats tennis team with an All-Academic Team award for the 2008-09 season.

Hallquist wins Chris Evert Award

The MIAC office announced today that St. Kate's senior Susie Hallquist has been named the 2009 Chris Evert Award winner. The award is given out annually to one senior tennis student-athlete with outstanding sportsmanship and outstanding athletic, academic and humanitarian accomplishments.

Tennis drops a tough one

The St. Kate's tennis team lost a hard fought match against Concordia College. The 5-4 setback concludes the Wildcats 2009 season.

Tennis goes 1-1 on weekend

The St. Kate's tennis team split their weekend competitions defeating the University of Wisconsin River Falls 7-2 before falling 6-3 to St. Olaf College. Against UWRF the Wildcats swept the doubles competition and picked up wins at 2,3,4 and 6 singles.
